Artist Statement

My creative practice focuses on character design and portraiture. I am particularly inspired by Fortiche's Arcane and its distinctive combination of 2D and 3D elements. I admire the attention to detail, especially how even background characters have their own unique appearances and personalities, rather than looking like repeated designs. In my acrylic paintings, I also aim to explore modern issues such as feminism and classism. I enjoy working with both acrylic paint and digital media, using layers of colour and shading to bring my subjects to life. Moving forward, I hope to pursue a career in concept art and character design, creating artwork that viewers can relate to and feel represented by.
